What Is Tommy From Power Real Name

So, you've been binge-watching Power, huh? That's cool, I've been there. You know what's not cool? Calling Tommy Egan by his character's name. I mean, come on, we're friends now, right? Let's spill the beans on what his real name is. Spoiler alert: it's not Tommy Gun, unfortunately.

Meet Joseph Sikora

Alright, let's rewind a bit. Picture this: a young Joseph Sikora, growing up in Chicago, dreaming of becoming an actor. Little did he know, he'd one day become the bad boy we all love to hate (or is it hate to love?) on Power.

Now, you might be thinking, "But wait, I've seen him in other stuff!" And you'd be right! Before he was Tommy Egan, he was making waves in shows like Law & Order, The Good Wife, and even a little indie film called Garden State. But it was Power that really put him on the map.

From Joseph to Tommy

So, how did Joseph Sikora become Tommy Egan? Well, according to him, it was all thanks to a little something called method acting. He told Esquire, "I don't really separate myself from Tommy. I just kind of let him live in me." Creepy? Maybe a little. But it sure makes for great TV!

And let's not forget about that iconic New York accent. It's not easy to fake, but Joseph nails it every time. He told Vulture, "I worked really hard on it. I watched a lot of Martin Scorsese movies and listened to a lot of Howard Stern." Now that's dedication!

Life Off-Screen

But enough about Tommy, let's talk about Joseph. When he's not busy being the baddest bad boy on TV, he's a total sweetheart. He's been married to his wife, Katie, since 2013, and they have a daughter together. Aww, isn't that cute?

And get this, he's also a huge sports fan. We're talking Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, the whole nine yards. So, if you ever see him out and about, you might want to steer clear during football season. Just saying.

And hey, the next time you're watching Power and Tommy's being all intense and stuff, just remember: that's Joseph Sikora under all that tough guy exterior. Isn't that just the cutest thing ever? I mean, I'm not crying, you're crying!

So, there you have it. The real name behind the guns, the suits, and the epic one-liners. Keep being awesome, Joseph. We'll keep watching, and we promise not to call you Tommy... too often.
