Secret Of An American Teenager Cast

Ever wondered what it's like to be a teenager in America, especially when you're living it out on TV? The cast of Secret Life of an American Teenager sure did. This show, which aired from 2008 to 2013, was like a big, dramatic high school play, filled with love triangles, unexpected pregnancies, and all the teen drama you could imagine. So, let's dive in and get to know these actors who brought this American teen life to our screens.

Meet the Main Squad

At the heart of the show was Molly Ringwald, yes, the iconic '80s teen queen herself. She played Anne Juergens, the mom trying to navigate her own life while dealing with her teenage daughter's unexpected pregnancy. It's like she traded in her leg warmers for a minivan, but still brought that classic teen movie vibe.

Molly's on-screen daughter was Shailene Woodley, who played Amy Juergens. Shailene was like the poster child for this show, her character's journey from innocent teen to young mom was a rollercoaster ride. She's come a long way since then, starring in big films like The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent.

Then there was Ken Baumann, who played Ben Boykewich, Amy's boyfriend and the baby's dad. Ken was like the classic all-American boy next door, with a side of drama. He's since moved on to producing and directing, proving that teen drama can lead to bigger things.
