How Old Was Sjp In Hocus Pocus

So, you're sitting there, sipping your latte, and suddenly you're like, "Hey, how old was Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus?" Right? I mean, who hasn't wondered that while stirring their coffee, am I right?

Well, grab your broomstick and let's dive into the Sanderson sisters' cauldron of knowledge, because I've got the scoop for you.

Let's Set the Scene

Hocus Pocus, that cult classic we all know and love, was released in 1993. It's the story of three witch sisters who are accidentally brought back to life on Halloween night, and it's up to a couple of kids and an immortal cat to stop them. Classic Disney, right?

Now, let's talk about our leading lady, Sarah Jessica Parker. She was born on March 25, 1965, which makes her a Taurus, in case you're into that astrology stuff. But that's not what we're here for, is it?

Doing the Math

So, if SJP was born in 1965, and Hocus Pocus was released in 1993, that means she was... drumroll please... 28 years old when she played the iconic role of Sarah Sanderson.

Yep, you heard it here first, folks. Our beloved SJP was in her late twenties when she was dancing around in that sexy witch costume, singing "I Put a Spell on You." I mean, can you even? fans self

But Wait, There's More!

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But wait, doesn't she look younger than that?" And to that, I say, "Yes, yes she does." But remember, SJP was playing a character who was supposed to be 17 when she was turned into a witch. So, even though SJP was in her late twenties, her character was technically in her teens. Mind. Blown.

And let's not forget, she was playing a witch who had been frozen in time for 300 years. So, she was basically the original Benjamin Button, aging backwards. I mean, if that's not a life goal, I don't know what is.

Now, who's ready for another cup of coffee? I'm suddenly feeling like I need a little pick-me-up. All this time travel has me exhausted. laughs
