How Old Was Selena Gomez On Barney

So, picture this: it's the late 2000s, and I'm sitting in front of the TV, munching on some popcorn, watching Barney & Friends. Suddenly, this cute little girl with big brown eyes and a smile that could light up a room waltzes in. I thought to myself, "Who's this little charmer?" Little did I know, that girl was none other than the future queen of pop, Selena Gomez!

Now, you might be wondering, "How old was Selena Gomez on Barney?" Well, buckle up, folks, because we're about to take a trip down memory lane.

Selena's Barney Beginnings

Selena Gomez first appeared on Barney & Friends in 2002, when she was just a tiny tot, a mere 10 years old. Yes, you heard it right! She was a decade younger than the purple dinosaur himself. Imagine that - little Selena, barely taller than Barney's knee, dancing around and singing songs about feelings and friendship.

Now, you might be thinking, "10? That's practically a baby!" And you'd be right. But remember, Selena wasn't your average 10-year-old. She was already acting in TV shows and movies, like "Barney: You Are Special" and "The Spy Kids" series. Talk about a child star on the rise!

Growing Up on Screen

Selena continued to appear on Barney & Friends until 2004, which means she was there for three whole seasons. By the time she left the show, she was a sprightly 12 years old. That's right, folks - Selena Gomez was a pre-teen when she said her goodbyes to Barney and his friends.

After leaving Barney & Friends, Selena's career took off like a rocket. She landed the lead role in "Wizards of Waverly Place" on Disney Channel, became a UNICEF ambassador, started her own production company, and even launched a successful music career.
