Newt might be the smartest kid in the Glade, but he's also got a quirky side. He's got a knack for coming up with creative solutions to the Gladers' problems, and he's not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. Plus, he's got a soft spot for his friends, especially Thomas.

Newt's Catchphrase: "Shh, I'm Thinking!"

One of Newt's most memorable quirks is his catchphrase, "Shh, I'm thinking!" He uses it to silence the Gladers when he's deep in thought, trying to come up with a plan. It's become a iconic line from the series, and it's just one of the many reasons why Newt is such a beloved character.
