How Old Was Deniro In Goodfellas

So, you're curious about how old Robert De Niro was when he played Jimmy Conway in Goodfellas, huh? Let's dive in, grab a coffee, and chat about it.

First off, Goodfellas hit the screens in '90, right? Now, you might be thinking, "Wasn't De Niro like, a hundred by then?" Well, no, not quite. He was actually in his prime, just a mere 46 years young.

Now, you might be wondering, "How does a 46-year-old play a character who's supposed to be in his 30s?" Well, that's the magic of Hollywood, my friend. De Niro, with his incredible acting chops, pulled it off seamlessly. I mean, have you seen the guy in Meet the Parents? He can play any age, anytime.

But let's rewind a bit. De Niro was born in '43, which makes him a Taurus, in case you're into that astrology stuff. So, when Goodfellas was filming, he was just a baby-faced 46. Can you believe it?

Now, you might be thinking, "But what about the other guys? Were they all ancient too?" Not quite. Ray Liotta, who played Henry Hill, was 36, and Joe Pesci, our beloved Tommy DeVito, was 46 too, just like De Niro. Talk about a geriatric gang, huh?
