How Old Is Wanda In Infinity War

Ever Wondered About Wanda's Age in 'Infinity War'?

Alright, let's talk about something that's been tickling the back of our minds since we watched Avengers: Infinity War. You know, that epic movie where our favorite superheroes came together to face Thanos. Now, let's focus on one of them - Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. How old is she, anyway?

First things first, Wanda's age isn't explicitly stated in the MCU. But that's okay, because we can still have some fun trying to figure it out. So, grab your thinking caps, and let's dive in!

Wanda's Backstory

Wanda and her twin brother Pietro were born in Sokovia, a fictional Eastern European country. They were experimented on by HYDRA, which gave them their powers. Wanda was around 17 when she first appeared in the MCU in Age of Ultron. But remember, that was before the snap, and before the five-year time jump in Infinity War.

So, by the time we see her in Infinity War, Wanda has been through a lot. She's lost her brother, been through a relationship with Vision, and seen her home country destroyed. But how much time has passed for her?

Time in the MCU

In the MCU, time passes just like it does in our world. But with all the traveling through time and dimensions, it can get a bit confusing. Let's break it down:

WandaVision Recap: 10 Things To Know From Previous Marvel Movies

• Age of Ultron - Wanda is around 17.
• Five years pass between Age of Ultron and Civil War.
• Wanda doesn't appear in Civil War, but she's mentioned as being in hiding.
• After Civil War, Wanda and Vision go into hiding together. They're together when Thanos snaps his fingers in Infinity War.

So, by the time of the snap, Wanda is around 22 or 23. But remember, that's before the snap. After the snap, five years pass for everyone who didn't turn to dust. So, when Wanda appears in WandaVision, she's around 27 or 28.

Why Does It Matter?

You might be thinking, "Who cares how old Wanda is?" And you're right, it's not the most important thing in the MCU. But it's interesting to think about, right? It helps us understand Wanda's character and her journey a little better.

Plus, it's fun to compare her age to other characters. For example, when we first meet Wanda, she's around the same age as Peter Parker. But by the time of Spider-Man: No Way Home, she's a good decade older than him!

So, there you have it. Wanda is around 27 or 28 in Infinity War. But remember, this is all just speculation. The MCU loves keeping us guessing!
