How Old Is Singer Michael Bolton

So, there I was, belting out "When a Man Loves a Woman" in the shower the other day, when it suddenly hit me - how old is Michael Bolton, the man behind this classic? I mean, I've been singing his tunes since I was a teenager, and now I'm... well, let's just say I've got a few more gray hairs than I used to. So, let's dive into the musical time machine and find out just how many candles are on Bolton's birthday cake.

Michael Bolton - The Early Years

Michael Bolton, born Michael Bolotin, was born on February 26, 1953, in New Haven, Connecticut. That's right, folks, he's a fellow baby boomer! Growing up, Bolton was surrounded by music - his mother was a church choir director, and his father played guitar. He picked up the guitar himself at the age of ten and started performing in local clubs as a teenager.

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, he's been around forever!" And you're not wrong. Bolton's been making music for over five decades. But don't worry, I won't bore you with a complete discography. Let's just say he's had a few hits here and there. You might've heard of "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" or "Said I Loved You... But I Lied".

Age is Just a Number, Right?

So, Bolton's been around the block a few times, but does that mean he's past his prime? Not quite. He's still touring, still recording, and still making music. In fact, he's shown that age is just a number by collaborating with younger artists like Lady Gaga and The Lonely Island. And let's not forget his hilarious appearance on "Saturday Night Live" with The Lonely Island, proving he's got a sense of humor about his image.

But how does he do it? What's his secret to staying relevant after all these years? Well, Bolton attributes his longevity to his love for music and his fans. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, "I've been blessed to have a career that's lasted this long, and I'm grateful every day. I just keep doing what I love, and the fans keep showing up."

So, How Old Is He Again?

Alright, enough with the small talk. You're here for the numbers, right? As of 2023, Michael Bolton is 70 years old. Yes, you read that right. Seventy. And he's showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he's currently on tour, so if you're a fan, you might want to check out his schedule and catch him live.

But hey, don't let the number fool you. Bolton's not one of those oldies but goodies who's just coasting on past hits. He's constantly evolving, trying new things, and proving that age is just a number. So, here's to Michael Bolton - the man, the myth, the legend - still going strong at 70.
