How Old Is Sadie In Steven Universe

Alright, let's dive into the crystal world of Steven Universe and figure out how old our favorite half-gem, half-human hero is. Buckle up, 'cause it's gonna be a wild ride!

So, How Old Is Steven, Again?

First things first, let's clear the air about Steven's age. He starts the show as a 12-year-old kid, right? But here's where it gets interesting. Steven Universe doesn't follow a linear timeline, so his age isn't just a simple count-up from the first episode.

You might be thinking, "But I saw him grow up in the show!" And you're right! Steven does age throughout the series, but it's not a steady march of time. Some periods speed up, some slow down, and some even... revert? (Don't ask, it's a long story.)

Let's Talk About Gems

Before we get back to Steven, let's chat about the Gems. They're these super-powered, magical space rocks, and they don't age like humans. So, when we meet them, they're all, like, ancient but look young. Confusing, right?

Take Garnet, for instance. She's a fusion of three Gems - Ruby, Sapphire, and Pearl. Ruby and Pearl are around 5,700 years old, while Sapphire is about 5,500. But Garnet herself? She's only been around for about 600 years. Mind. Blown.

Back to Steven

Now, let's get back to our main man. Steven's age is a bit of a puzzle, thanks to all that timey-wimey stuff. But let's try to piece it together.

By the time the show ends, Steven is around 16 or 17. But remember, that's not a simple 5-year jump. It's more like a... wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey 5-year jump. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Why Does It Matter?

You might be wondering, "Why does any of this matter?" Well, it doesn't. Not really. But isn't it fun to think about? Isn't it cool to imagine all the adventures Steven's had, all the time he's seen, all the people he's met?

Plus, it's just a great excuse to talk about Steven Universe, isn't it? The show's all about growth, change, and the passage of time. So even if we can't pin down Steven's age to the exact second, we can still enjoy the ride.

One Last Thing...

Before we wrap up, let's address the elephant in the room. Yes, Steven does turn into a giant, sentient gem at one point. No, that doesn't change his age. (At least, not that we know of.)

And that, my friend, is the wonderful, wacky world of Steven Universe ages. Isn't it just the best?
