So, you've been wondering, "How old is Rick from The Walking Dead?" Right? I mean, the guy's been through more than a few apocalypses, so it's natural to wonder. Let's dive in, shall we?
Rick's Age in the Show
In the TV show, Rick Grimes is played by the ever-so-dashing Andrew Lincoln. Now, Andrew was born in 1973, which makes him a cool 48 as of 2021. But remember, the show's timeline is a bit wonky due to time jumps and such. So, let's break it down.
Rick's age when the apocalypse hits is around 38. The show starts with him in a coma, waking up to a world gone mad. From there, we see him age, but not as much as you'd think. I mean, the guy's been through hell, but he's still got that youthful glow. Sort of.

Rick's Aging Process
Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky. The show spans about 11 years, but it feels like a lifetime, right? Rick's seen his fair share of action, and it shows. But how old is he at the end?
Well, by the time Rick bites the dust (spoiler alert!), he's around 50. But remember, he's been through a lot. Like, a lot a lot. So, he looks a bit older. But who can blame him? He's been fighting off walkers and trying to keep his family alive. It's a tough job.

Rick's Age in the Comics
If you're a comic book fan, you might be wondering, "But what about the comics?" Well, the comics are a whole different story. Pun intended.
In the comics, Rick ages a bit faster. By the time he kicks the bucket, he's around 60. But again, he's been through a lot. The comics and the show are different beasts, so don't get too hung up on the ages matching up.

Why Does It Matter?
You might be thinking, "Who cares how old Rick is?" And you're right, it doesn't really matter. But it's fun to think about, isn't it? I mean, the guy's been through so much, it's interesting to see how it's aged him.
Plus, it's a good excuse to rewatch the show and reminisce about the good old days. You know, before Negan showed up and ruined everything.
So, there you have it. Rick Grimes is around 50 in the show and 60 in the comics. But who's counting, right? As long as he's still fighting off walkers and keeping his family safe, that's all that matters.
