Richie Tozier: The Silver-Tongued Teen

In the 2017 version of 'It', our beloved Richie Tozier is portrayed by the incredibly talented Finn Wolfhard. Now, you might be thinking, "Finn looks like he's just a kid! How old is he supposed to be in the movie?" Well, hold onto your hats, because Richie, like his friends, is a teenager in the 2017 film.

That's right! Richie, along with the rest of the Losers' Club, is around 12-13 years old when they first encounter the terrifying Pennywise. But remember, this is the 2017 remake we're talking about. In the original 1990 miniseries, the kids were a bit older, around 17. But the 2017 film chose to stick with the younger age range from Stephen King's original novel.

So, How Old is Finn Wolfhard?

Now, you might be wondering, "If Richie is around 12-13 in the movie, how old is Finn Wolfhard in real life?" Well, Finn was born on December 23, 2002, which makes him a teenager himself, just like Richie! So, when he was filming 'It' in 2016, Finn was around 13-14 years old. Pretty spot-on for the role, huh?

But here's a fun fact for you - Finn was actually one of the youngest members of the Losers' Club! The oldest was Jeremy Ray Taylor, who played Ben Hanscom, and he was around 15 during filming.
