How Old Is Nolan In Invincible

So, I was watching Invincible the other day, and I found myself wondering, "Just how old is Nolan Grayson, aka Omni-Man?" I mean, he's got that whole 'middle-aged dad' vibe going on, but is he really that old? Let's dive in, shall we?

First Things First: The Backstory

Alright, so for those of you who haven't binged Invincible yet (what are you waiting for?), Nolan Grayson is the main character. He's a superhero, a husband, and a dad. He's also an alien, but that's a story for another time. The point is, he's got a lot on his plate, and it made me curious about his age.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "But Invincible is an animated series, it's not like we can see the actor's wrinkles or grey hairs!" And you're right, but hear me out. There are still clues scattered throughout the show that can give us a hint at Nolan's age.

Clues from the Show

First off, there's Nolan's son, Mark. He's a teenager, and while we don't know his exact age, we can infer that Nolan was in his late teens or early twenties when he had him. Now, Mark's not exactly a baby anymore, so Nolan must be at least in his mid-thirties, right?

Then there's the fact that Nolan's been a superhero for a while. He's got the whole 'been there, done that' attitude, and he's seen a lot of changes in the world. He's even got a bit of a reputation, which suggests he's been around the block a few times.

But here's where things get interesting. In one episode, Nolan mentions that he's been on Earth for around 17 years. Now, that's not his entire lifespan, but it's a significant chunk of time. It suggests that he's not a spring chicken anymore, even if he does look like one.

The Math: How Old Is Nolan?

So, if Nolan's been on Earth for around 17 years, and he's got a teenager son, we can make an educated guess. Let's say he was in his early twenties when Mark was born. That would make him around 35-37 now. Not old, but not exactly a young whippersnapper either.

Invincible Season 3 Is the Prime Video Superhero Series' Most

But here's the thing, folks. Nolan's an alien. He's got super strength, flight, and who knows what else. Maybe he ages differently than we do. Maybe he's actually older than he looks. Maybe he's been lying about his age this whole time. (Wouldn't be the first time a superhero did that, am I right?)

So, What's the Verdict?

In conclusion, Nolan Grayson is probably in his mid-to-late thirties. But remember, this is all just speculation. The showrunner could walk in here right now and tell us that Nolan's actually a centuries-old alien who just looks human. Wouldn't that be a twist?

Anyway, folks, that's my two cents on Nolan's age. What do you think? Let me know in the comments. Until next time, keep questioning, keep wondering, and most importantly, keep watching Invincible!
