How Old Is Kate Chastain Below Deck

So, there I was, binge-watching Below Deck the other night, and I found myself wondering, "Just how old is Kate Chastain, anyway?" I mean, she's been our beloved chief stew for what feels like forever, but she's always so put together, it's hard to tell if she's in her 30s or just really good at the whole 'adulting' thing.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Why does it even matter, Below Deck enthusiast?" Well, bear with me, because I've got a point here. Kate's been a constant in our lives (well, those of us who are addicted to the show), and I think it's only fair we know a little more about her, don't you?

Unraveling the Mystery

Alright, let's dive into the archives. Kate Chastain was born on January 2, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia. That makes her a Capricorn, in case you're into that astrology stuff. So, as of 2022, she's 40 years young. Yes, you read that right. Our girl Kate is officially in her 40s, and she's still serving us those iconic one-liners and keeping the crew in check.

But here's the thing, folks. Kate doesn't look a day over 35, right? So, what's her secret? Is it the sea air? The constant exercise from running around the boat? Or maybe it's just good genes. Whatever it is, I want some of it. I mean, who wouldn't want to look that good after dealing with the drama that goes down on those charters?

From Pageant Queen to Reality TV Star

Now, you might be wondering how our favorite chief stew got her start. Well, believe it or not, Kate was once a pageant queen. Yes, you heard me right. She was Miss Georgia Teen USA back in the day. But don't worry, she's not one of those pageant types who can't handle a little mess or drama. In fact, I'd argue that her pageant past has only made her better at dealing with the craziness that comes with being on a reality TV show.

A Great Chief Stew Keeps 'Below Deck' Afloat

After her pageant days, Kate worked as a flight attendant before making the leap to yachting. And the rest, as they say, is history. She joined the Below Deck crew in season 2 and has been our rock ever since. Through it all, she's managed to keep her cool (most of the time) and dish out some seriously memorable moments.

Kate Through the Years

Remember when she had that epic feud with Captain Lee over the chicken incident? Or how about the time she had to deal with that crazy guest who kept asking for a "sexy" stew? And let's not forget her iconic catchphrases, like "I'm not a fan" and "I'm not here to make friends." Classic Kate moments that have us laughing and cringing in equal measure.

Through all the drama and the laughs, Kate has remained a constant presence on our screens. And even though she's left the show now, she's still very much a part of the Below Deck family. I mean, who else could pull off a leopard print onesie and still command respect?

What's Next for Kate?

So, now that we know Kate's age and a little more about her background, you might be wondering what's next for our favorite chief stew. Well, since leaving Below Deck, Kate's been keeping busy with her podcast, Whine Down with Kate Chastain, where she dishes on all things reality TV and beyond. She's also been dabbling in the world of interior design, which, let's be real, is a natural fit for someone with her eye for detail.

But who knows? Maybe one day we'll see Kate back on our screens, serving up more one-liners and keeping us entertained. After all, the world of yachting is a big one, and there's always room for a pro like Kate. Until then, we'll just have to content ourselves with rewatching her best moments and hoping for a reunion special.

And there you have it, folks. The mystery of Kate Chastain's age, solved. Now, go forth and impress your fellow Below Deck fans with your newfound knowledge. Just remember to keep it classy, like our girl Kate would.
