Born in the Roaring Twenties

Frankie Valli was born on May 3, 1934, in the heart of New Jersey. That's right, folks! He's a fellow from the Garden State, not some Italian import. Now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute, if he was born in the '30s, that makes him older than my grandparents!" Well, hold onto your hats, because it gets even more mind-blowing.

The Original Teen Idol

Valli started his musical career in the 1950s, when he was just a teenager. Can you imagine being a teen and already performing on stage? Talk about starting young! He formed his first group, The Variatones, when he was just 16. And get this - he was already a father by the time he was 17! Yes, you read that right. Frankie Valli was a teen dad, long before Justin Bieber or any of those other youngsters.

The Birth of the Four Seasons

In the early '60s, Valli joined forces with some fellow New Jersey guys to form The Four Seasons. They were like the original boy band, with Valli as their high-pitched, powerhouse lead singer. Their first hit, "Sherry," came out in 1962. That's right, folks - that's over 50 years ago! And guess what? Valli was already in his late 20s when that song hit the airwaves. Can you believe it?

Still Going Strong in His 80s

Now, here's where it gets crazy. Valli is still performing today, at the ripe old age of 87! Yes, you heard it right. He's been entertaining audiences for over six decades! And get this - he's not just some old guy croaking out his hits. He's still got that signature falsetto, and he's still selling out shows. Talk about a musical fountain of youth!
