How Old Is Cavendish One Piece

Hey there, fellow One Piece fan! You know what's been bugging me lately? The age-old question: just how old is Cavendish, the Straw Hat's resident giant and former Warlord? I mean, the guy's as tall as a skyscraper, but does that mean he's as old as the One Piece itself?

First things first, let's establish that Cavendish, or "Bartholomew Kuma" as he was once known, is a human. No, he's not a fish-man, a cyborg, or a rubber man. He's just a regular guy who's had some... unique experiences. So, we can safely assume he ages like any other human, right?

Now, let's dive into the One Piece timeline. Cavendish was a Warlord of the Sea under the name Kuma, which means he was active during the Sabaody Archipelago incident. That was around the same time Luffy was training on Rusukaina and Ace was still alive. So, we're talking about events that happened before the time skip.

We know that Luffy was around 17 years old during the Sabaody incident. Since Cavendish was already a Warlord at that time, it's safe to assume he was at least a few years older than Luffy. But how many years, you ask? That's where things get a bit tricky.

Cavendish was turned into a cyborg by the Revolutionary Army to protect him from the Shichibukai. This happened after the Sabaody incident, but we're not sure exactly how long after. It could have been a few months, a year, or even more. The manga and anime don't give us a specific timeline for this event.

So, let's make some educated guesses. If we assume Cavendish was turned into a cyborg around the same time Luffy was training on Rusukaina, that would make him around 18-19 years old at the time. But remember, this is just a guess!

Now, let's fast forward to the present. The Straw Hats have been on their adventure for about two years after the time skip. That means Luffy is now around 19-20 years old. If Cavendish was indeed around 18-19 when he became a cyborg, that would make him around 20-21 years old now.

But wait, you might be thinking, "What about the two-year age difference between Luffy and Cavendish?" Well, that's where the "unique experiences" part comes in. Cavendish spent a lot of time as a cyborg, and we don't know how that affected his aging process. It's possible that his body aged slower while he was a cyborg, or maybe he just looks older than he really is. After all, the guy is a giant!

So, there you have it! Based on our best guesses, Cavendish is probably around 20-21 years old. But remember, this is all just speculation. Oda-sensei hasn't given us a definitive answer, and until he does, we can only make educated guesses.

But hey, who cares about age when you're having the adventure of a lifetime, right? Whether Cavendish is 20 or 30, he's still a valuable member of the Straw Hat crew. And who knows? Maybe one day, we'll find out the truth about his age. Until then, let's just enjoy the ride and keep on believing in the power of friendship and adventure!
