How Old Is Alina In Shadow And Bone

So, How Old Is Alina Starkov Anyway?

Alright, let's dive into the magical world of Shadow and Bone, shall we? You've probably been wondering, "Hey, how old is this Alina chick, anyway?" Well, grab a cup of tea, and let's find out together!

Let's Start at the Beginning

We first meet Alina in the heart of Ravka, a land torn apart by a mystical and dangerous barrier called the Fold. She's a young woman, sure, but how young? Alina's story begins when she's 17 years old. She's been living a tough life, working as a cartographer's apprentice, and trying her best to keep her head down.

But then, bam! Alina's life takes a sudden and dramatic turn. She discovers she's a Sun Summoner, a rare and powerful Grisha (that's Ravka's magical elite, by the way). Talk about a quarter-life crisis, right?

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, cool, she's 17 when we first meet her. But what about later on?" Well, my friend, Alina's journey spans quite a few years. We follow her story through the first trilogy, The Grisha Trilogy, and then into the Six of Crows duology.

By the time we reach the end of the Six of Crows books, Alina is in her early twenties. That's right, she's grown, she's changed, and she's faced more challenges than most of us can even imagine.

So, Why Does It Matter?

You might be wondering why we're so interested in Alina's age. Well, for one, it's a big part of her story. She grows and changes so much over the course of these books, and her age is a big part of that. It's like watching a friend grow up, you know?

Plus, it's just fun to compare our own lives to Alina's. At 17, were we fighting off mythical creatures and trying to save our countries? Probably not. But hey, a girl can dream, right?

But What About the Show?

Now, if you're a fan of the Shadow and Bone Netflix show, you might be wondering how Alina's age compares. Well, the show takes some creative liberties, as shows often do. In the show, Alina is played by Zoey Deutch, who was in her mid-twenties when the show was filmed.

But don't worry, the spirit of Alina's journey remains the same. She's still a young woman, full of courage, determination, and a whole lot of heart. And that's what makes her story so darn compelling!

So, What's the Verdict?

Alina Starkov is a young woman, full of strength and growth. She starts her journey at 17, and by the end, she's in her early twenties. But her age isn't what makes her story so captivating. It's her heart, her courage, and her unyielding spirit that truly make her a hero worth rooting for.

And hey, if you're anything like me, you'll be cheering for Alina every step of the way. So, grab a book (or your remote), and let's dive back into the magical world of Ravka. After all, there's always more to explore, more to learn, and more to love about Alina Starkov's incredible journey.
