How Old Are The Kpop Demon Hunters

So, you've been wondering, "How old are those K-pop idols who've been slaying it as demon hunters on stage?" Right? I mean, they look like they're barely out of high school, but then again, Korean age calculations can be a bit tricky, huh?

Let's dive in, shall we? Grab your coffee, make yourself comfy, and let's chat about this.

Korean Age vs. International Age

First things first, we need to understand the Korean age system. In Korea, you're considered one year old at birth, and everyone gets a free birthday on New Year's Day. So, if you were born on December 31st, you'd still celebrate your birthday on January 1st, making you a whole year older!

Now, let's talk about our favorite K-pop idols. When you see their ages listed, it's usually their Korean age. So, if they're 20 in Korean age, they're actually 19 internationally. Confusing, right? But don't worry, we'll figure this out together.

BTS: The OG Demon Hunters

Alright, let's start with the big guns - BTS. You've probably seen them slaying demons (or at least, some seriously impressive choreography) on stage. As of 2023, the oldest member, Jin, is 30 in Korean age, which makes him 29 internationally. The youngest, Jungkook, is 25 Korean age, or 24 internationally. Can you believe they've been in the industry for over a decade?

And get this, they debuted when they were just 16 to 20 years old internationally! Talk about starting young, huh?
