How Old Are Reo Speedwagon Members

So, How Old Are Those Reo Speedwagon Guys Anyway?

Ever found yourself belting out "Ain't No Time" at the top of your lungs in the shower, only to wonder, "Hey, how old are those Reo Speedwagon guys now?" You're not alone! Let's dive into the world of rock 'n' roll and find out together.

Meet the Band

Reo Speedwagon, or just "Reo" to their fans, is an American rock band formed way back in 1967. That's right, they've been around longer than some of us have been alive! The band is known for their hits like "Keep On Loving You," "Take It Here," and "Time For Me To Fly."

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, they've been around forever! They must be ancient!" Well, hold your horses, because while they've been making music for a long time, they're not quite as old as you might think.

Kevin Cronin: The Frontman

Let's start with the lead vocalist, Kevin Cronin. Born on April 6, 1951, Kevin is the youngest member of the band. That's right, the guy who's been serenading us for decades is still in his 70s! But don't worry, he's not planning on hanging up his microphone just yet. In fact, he's said that he still feels like he's in his 20s when he's on stage.

Think about it like this: Kevin Cronin is about the same age as your parents or maybe even your grandparents. But unlike them, he's still out there, rockin' out and making new music. Isn't that something?

The Rest of the Gang

Now, let's talk about the other members. Dave Amato, the lead guitarist, was born on January 21, 1958. That makes him a year older than Kevin. But don't tell him that, he might try to take Kevin's spot as the youngest in the band!

Bryan Hitt, the drummer, was born on November 26, 1957. And finally, there's Bruce Hall, the bassist, who was born on June 11, 1955. That makes him the oldest of the bunch.

So, there you have it. The members of Reo Speedwagon are all in their 60s, with Bruce being the oldest at 67. But don't let their age fool you. These guys are still full of energy and passion for their music. They're like that favorite pair of jeans that's been around for decades but still fits perfectly and makes you feel great.

Why Should You Care?

You might be wondering, "Why should I care how old they are?" Well, let me tell you, it's inspiring to see a group of people who have dedicated their lives to their craft and are still going strong after all these years. It's a reminder that age is just a number, and as long as you're passionate about something, you can keep doing it.

Plus, it's always fun to put things into perspective. The next time you're feeling old because you've had a long week at work, remember that these guys have been touring and making music for over 50 years. If they can do it, so can you!

So, the next time you're singing along to "Can't Fight This Feeling," take a moment to appreciate the age and experience of the guys who brought that song to life. They might be in their 60s, but they're still rock 'n' roll's finest.
