When we talk about the 'SNL' cast, we're not just talking about the main cast members. We're also including the featured players and the writers. It's like a big, hilarious family!

So, How Much?

Alright, let's dive in. The main cast members make a pretty penny. We're talking around $25,000 per episode. Now, that might not sound like a lot compared to some Hollywood heavy hitters, but remember, they're on TV every week!

Let's break it down. There are about 20 episodes in a season. So, if our favorite 'SNL' cast member is there for the whole season, they're looking at around $500,000 for the year. Not too shabby, huh?

But Wait, There's More!

Now, here's where it gets interesting. If a cast member sticks around for a few years, they can negotiate a raise. Some long-time cast members can make up to $1 million per episode!

Take Saturday Night Live's longest-running cast member, Kenan Thompson, for example. He's been there since 2003! With those kinds of numbers, it's no wonder he's sticking around.
