How Much Does Dak Prescott Get Paid

Hey there, sports fan! Grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and let's chat about Dak Prescott's payday. You know, the guy who's been slinging passes for the Dallas Cowboys like they're hot cakes at a Sunday brunch.

First things first, let's talk about Dak's four-year, $160 million contract he signed back in 2021. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Whoa, that's a lot of zeroes!" And you're right, it is. But remember, we're talking about the NFL here, where the big bucks are as common as touchdowns on a Sunday.

So, let's break it down. Dak's average annual salary is around $40 million. That's more than some countries' GDP, am I right? But hey, when you're the starting quarterback for America's Team, you've got to bring home the bacon.

Now, let's talk bonuses. Dak's contract includes a $66 million signing bonus. That's like getting a giant red bow on your dream car. And get this, he also gets a $30 million roster bonus every year. It's like getting a paycheck just for showing up to work. Not a bad gig, huh?

But here's where it gets interesting. Dak's contract has no offset language. In plain English, that means if Dak gets cut, he still gets his salary from the Cowboys and his new team. It's like having your cake and eating it too. Talk about a win-win!
