How Many Times Has Whitney Won Dwts

So, there I was, watching Dancing with the Stars with my mom last night, and we started talking about how many times Whitney Houston had won the show. I mean, I knew she was a legendary singer, but I didn't realize she was also a dancing queen! My mom laughed and said, "Oh, honey, that's not Whitney Houston the singer, that's Whitney from The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Well, color me embarrassed!

But it got me thinking, how many times has Whitney Houston won Dancing with the Stars? I mean, the real Whitney Houston, the one who sang "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You". So, I decided to do a little digging and here's what I found.

Whitney Houston's DWTS Connection

First things first, Whitney Houston never actually competed on Dancing with the Stars. But that doesn't mean she wasn't connected to the show. In fact, her music has been a staple on the show since its inception. Her songs have been used for performances, eliminations, and even for the show's theme music. Her powerful vocals and iconic dance moves have inspired many a contestant and their professional partners.

Whitney Houston's Music on DWTS

Some of Whitney Houston's most popular songs have been used on the show. "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" has been used multiple times, including for a group dance in Season 21. "I Will Always Love You" has been used for emotional performances and even for a contestant's final dance. And let's not forget "Dance with Somebody" from the movie The Bodyguard, which has been used for several romantic dances on the show.

But here's where it gets interesting. While Whitney Houston may not have won Dancing with the Stars herself, her music has won the show. In Season 25, Jordan Fisher and his partner Lindsay Arnold used Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" for their freestyle dance. And guess what? They won the whole show!

So, while Whitney Houston may not have won Dancing with the Stars in the traditional sense, her music has certainly left its mark on the show. And who knows? Maybe one day, a contestant will win the show using one of her lesser-known songs. After all, as Whitney herself once said, "I believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way." And maybe, just maybe, one of those children will grow up to be a Dancing with the Stars champion, thanks to the power of Whitney Houston's music.
